Site Analysis: Sensory Experience

1. Introduction

We felt it was important to make the journey a sensory experience, and because of that, we set out to do a series of sensory analysis including rubbings and mouldings of found objects and materials along the route and serial views.

2. Mouldings

Below are a few of the mouldings which we took along the journey; they include (in order from top to botom): a manhole cover, a tree bark, tarmac and bricks.



3. Rubbings

Below are the rubbings we did along the way to empesise the textures of several materials and objects which we found.





4. Found Objects

We decided to make a sculpture with found objects. Below is a picture of the result.
